The Texas Research & Technology Foundation (TRTF) flagship initiative—the Merchant’s Ice and G. J. Sutton properties—will deliver on the vision of an Innovation District located on the near eastside of San Antonio. This footprint will encompass approximately twelve acres of contiguous space dedicated to offices, research, retail, and open green space.
Douglas Architects was hired by TRTF to master plan this Superhub, which will serve as the heart of the Innovation District, focused on promoting bioscience and innovation by attracting and growing companies and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.
