Part of the original core campus, the Humanities and Social Sciences Building is a central location of student activity on the University of Texas San Antonio campus.

Douglas Architects, Inc. provided comprehensive assessment of the existing structure and a plan for restoration. Additionally, Douglas Architects worked with the University to select a contractor and to ensure that the restoration complied with the construction documents.
